Family  Resources

The Nevada Early Childhood Advisory Council is dedicated to empowering families,

enhancing educational outcomes, and ensuring that every child has the support they need to thrive.

This page is dedicated to the Families of Nevada, providing information, resources, educational materials, community support, opportunities to engage, toolkits, and other resources families can explore and discover programs and resources available for  Nevada’s children and families. We believe that parents (and families) are a child’s first and most important teachers. We celebrate the uniqueness of every family.   We invite you to explore the resources and materials found here, journey to the Subcommittee Webpages and see what actions are taking place with our members, or even join us at one of our meetings. We hope to see you there!

Starting Early is Starting Right On Time

Our approach to family engagement is rooted in respect, celebrating our uniqueness, honoring family knowledge, and building upon the unique abilities and cultural strengths of each child.

Welcome to our Family Resource Page, a dedicated space designed to support and empower families within our community. Here, you’ll find a wealth of information, resources, and tools that aim to enhance your family’s journey through education and child development. We understand that every family is unique, and our commitment is to celebrate that diversity while providing the guidance you need. Whether you’re looking for educational materials, community support, or ways to get involved, we invite you to explore the resources available and join us in creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. Together, we can build a brighter future for our children and our community.

Our Commitment to Families

We are committed to creating a supportive system that values families. This means involving families as active partners in their child’s education and development, fostering mutual respect, and encouraging families to share their voice and become advocates for their children, their families, and their communities. We prioritize building trusting relationships with families through mutual respect, integrity, and personal regard.
